In support of the Sesquicentennial Celebration, the Sesquicentennial Planning Committee has created two legacy projects for residents to show their support! The Sesquicentennial Paver Purchase program and Glenview Road Beautification Project offer residents a unique opportunity to leave their mark in Wilmette and support the Committee’s work! Click here for further information on all projects and the paver donation application.
Sesquicentennial Paver Purchase: Make a permanent impression with an engraved paver purchase for Ouilmette Way. Select a small (4″ x 8″) brick with a personal engraving. See the above link for full paver project information. This is a great way to honor a loved one’s birthday, graduation, retirement, or any major milestone! Note: The deadline to order pavers has been extended to Tuesday, May 10, 2022. As of May 10, 2022, large (8″ x 8″) pavers are SOLD OUT!
Glenview Road Beautification Project: Glenview Road east of Skokie Boulevard will be enhanced with new tree plantings, landscaping, and Village signage. Donors giving $150 and greater will have their name included on a plaque recognizing their donation. Note: The deadline for donations to be recognized on a plaque as part of the Glenview Rd Beautification Project is Saturday, April 30, 2022.
Communicator Recognition for Monetary Donations: Donations of $25 and above will receive recognition in the Commemorative 150th edition of the Wilmette Communicator! Note, donations need to be made by April 30, 2022 to be included in the Communicator.
